Project GAIN (Golf: Accessible and Inclusive Networks) is a national research and development project funded by
the United States Golf Association Foundation, the PGA of America Foundation, and the PGA TOUR. The project is
designed to be a comprehensive community based program, using the game of golf as the primary medium, to maximize
opportunities for inclusion into the fabric of the local community by people with disabilities.

- New Project GAIN site launching in Howard County, Maryland

Howard County, Maryland is the newest Project GAIN program, launching in March of 2005. The program will be administered by
the Howard County Recreation and Parks Department. In 2005, this program expects to involve at least 100 participants with and
without disabilities in this newest program to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to get involved in a year
