Alliance forming Single Rider Car Task Force

The National Alliance for Accessible Golf is in the process of studying how the use of various aspects of single rider or adapted golf cars allows as a way for individuals with certain types of disabilities to play the game, and for golf course owners and operators to increase the accessibility of their golf facility.

Former Alliance Board member John McGovern is chairing the Task Force. John is Executive Director of the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association in Northbrook, Illinois. Other Task Force members are currently being finalized, and the first meeting of the TF will be by teleconference on March 1. A very aggressive timeline for completion of the TF objectives has been set.

We will be posting the progress of the Task Force as the year progresses, and soon will provide more detailed information on the various TF objectives and expected deliverables. Check back often.
