Salt Lake County Adaptive has been working with Salt Lake County Golf Pros at all 6 or our courses to improve access to golf for individuals with disabilities. During this season with assistance from the National Alliance for Accessible Golf Judy Alvarez trained 27 of our golf professionals in adaptive instruction techniques. We have also added three single rider golf carts two of which are located at Mick Riley golf course and one at Meadowbrook. We will continue working on increasing program accessibility and facility friendliness for individuals with disabilities.
